Destiny Springs Healthcare is local behavioral health hospital in Surprise.
In 2024 Skyler created a donation program to provide clothing for patients at the hospital, many of whom are children in the care of DCS or homeless adults. Most arrive with only the clothes on their backs, and some with nothing at all, requiring them to wear hospital gowns throughout their stay.
Skyler believes that clothing is a basic human right and has made it her mission to ensure every patient has access to clean, comfortable clothes during their time at Destiny Springs.
You can contact Skyler to make arrangements to drop off donations at her home. She’ll also try to arrange Sunday pickups when possible.
Even a small donation can have a big impact. A fresh shirt or pair of shoes can change a patient’s outlook, provide dignity, and help them feel more like themselves in a moment of crisis. Skyler’s goal is to make sure no patient is left wearing a gown for days on end.
