✨🎄 Festival of Lights Holiday Decorating Contest 🎄✨
Celebrate the magic of the holidays by lighting up your home and joining our annual Festival of Lights Decorating Contest ✨🎄 Participants will be featured on the Holiday Spirit Map, and prizes will be awarded to the top displays. Neighbors who decorate but don’t enter the contest can still add their homes to the map so everyone can enjoy a dazzling holiday tour. Let your creativity shine and share the joy of the season with the whole community.

You don’t have to be in the decorating contest to join the fun. Whether you’re lighting up your home or adding a little festive cheer, you can add your home to the Spirit Map so neighbors know where to stop by this season.

Open to Festival Foothills and Sun City Festival residents
Deadline for non-contestants to add their home is December 18, 2025
✨ The Spirit Map will be updated twice, once on December 12th & again on December 19th, but will be live from December 12, 2025 through January 4, 2026
🎅 All homes that register for the contest will be automatically added to the Spirit Map so neighbors can enjoy your display while planning their holiday light-looking route 🎄✨

Your voice decides the Neighbor’s Choice Award. Browse the Spirit Map, check out all the festive bright and creative displays and cast your vote for your favorite home. Other category winners will be selected by a Jury.
Voting opens December 12, 2025
Voting closes December 15, 2025
One vote per household (contestant homes may also vote)
🏆 The winner of the public vote will be crowned the Neighbor’s Choice and announced on along with all other category winners on December 19, 2025 on the Festival Neighbors social media pages and via email to newsletter subscribers.

👻 All winners will be notified via registration email on December 18, 2025 and announced online & via email to newsletter subscribers on December 19, 2025. Winners should plan to pick up their prizes by December 23, 2025.
*If six (6) or fewer homes enter, we will forgo public and jury voting, and each contestant will receive a $25 gift card for participating. All 2025 prizes are sponsored by Dawn Ankrom.
