Sign up your home for the Haunt Your Home Decorating Contest and show off your spooky or cutesy Halloween spirit! 🎃👻🕷️🧛♀️
🗓️ Registration opens October 1, 2025 at 5pm
⏰ Registration closes October 15, 2025 at 5pm
Due to weather, I have extended registration until midnight on
October 23rd so everyone can get their displays up.
📸 Submit your info and a photo of your display (landscape/horizontal)
💡 Night photos are best if your display uses lights
💵 Cash prizes, Boo Basket & Commemorative Sign for winners
SPIRIT MAP
🍬🍭 Sweeten the Map 🍭🍬
You don’t have to be in the decorating contest to be part of the fun. Whether you’re decorating your home or just handing out candy, you can add your home to the Spirit Map so neighbors know where to stop by on Halloween.

Open to Festival Foothills and Sun City Festival residents
Deadline to add your home is Thursday, October 23, 2025 at midnight.
✨ The Spirit Map will be live from October 24 through the end of the night on November 2, 2025
👻 All homes that register for the contest will be automatically added to the Spirit Map so neighbors can see your display and plan their Halloween stops 🍬🍭

Your voice decides the Neighbor’s Choice Award. Browse the Spirit Map, check out all the spooky, cute, and creative displays, and cast your vote for your favorite home. Other category winners will be selected by a Jury.
Voting opens October 17, 2025 at 5pm
Due to weather delaying setups, voting moved until October 24th, time TBD
Voting closes October 27, 2025 at 5pm
One vote per household (contestant homes may also vote)
🏆 The winning home of the public vote will be crowned the Neighbor’s Choice and announced on October 29, 2025 online and in the November 1, 2025 newsletter.

Winners will be selected in four categories, each receiving a 💵 cash prize, 🎁 Boo Basket, 🏅 Personalized Trophy, and 🪧 Commemorative Yard Sign.
Slay the Day (Best Overall)💰 $100 cash
Neighbor’s Choice (Community Favorite)💰 $50 cash
Creepin’ It Real (Most Creative/Authentic Halloween Spirit)💰 $50 cash
Fright the Front (Best Small-Scale/Entryway Display)💰 $25 cash
👻 All winners will be notified via email on Tuesday October 28, 2025 and announced online on Wednesday October 29, 2025 as well as the November newsletter. Winners should plan to pick up their prizes by Friday October 31, 2025.
*If four or fewer homes enter, we will forgo public and jury voting, and each contestant will receive a $25 gift card for participating.
