Hi, I'm Dawn!

You may also know me as the weird lady who dresses up her 12-foot skeleton every year 💀🎃 If you've ever wondered who is behind the holiday maps, the website, or the sticker drops... yep, that's me.

I started the Festival Neighbors website in 2023 because I needed a place to embed my holiday maps. I love decorating, and I wanted an easy way for neighbors to find the decorated homes around the community. Once I had the website, I started thinking about all the other things I was already putting on my personal calendar. I was already collecting all of that information for myself, so I figured, why not add an event calendar and share it with others who might find it helpful too?

So I kept adding things 😂

Today, the Festival Neighbors website includes holiday and community sale maps, a local business directory, the food truck schedule, event calendar, helpful community links, and other things I happen to come across that I think are worth adding. I also put together a monthly newsletter that you can sign up for through the site, featuring community happenings and a resident photo each month. I keep the site limited to things that are open to everyone.

I do all of this in my spare time on my own budget. I have a full time job, family, life, and plenty of other things going on outside of this site. I'm just a resident who enjoys finding useful information, organizing it, and sharing it when I have the time.
