Any approved organizer can submit events. Organizers can be part of large festivals, small teams, or even individual, resident-run events.

Since our focus is on Festival, we only include events within Festival and nearby communities.

All events must be open to everyone, we do not list private resident only or ticketed events exclusive to one community or another.

Other West Valley events west of the 101 may be approved if they are major regional events of broad community interest.

Events outside this coverage area are not included in the calendar but may be submitted separately for newsletter only consideration if applicable.

All flyers graphics must be png or jpg formats. The size should be 8.5×11 with 300dpi.

All flyers must include at least one method of contact (email, phone or website contact form) as well as the name of the event, date, time and location.

If your flyer does not meet these requirements, your event may still be listed as long as the details are included in the listing, but your flyer will not qualify for newsletter placement and may not be re-shared on social media.

Every event lists the organizer and requires contact details so attendees know who to reach if they have questions. Festival Neighbors will not act as a point of contact for each event.

All events require approval by our team before they are posted to the calendar. Please allow up to a week after submission for review. We suggest submitting events at least 3-4 weeks in advance for best visibility.

Register for an account by submitting an application. Once approved you will be in our system and you can start submitting events immediately. If for some reason we need to deny your application, we will let you know.

We only add flyers for the community yard sales to the event calendar, we do not add individual yard sale flyers to the calendar.

We will not add classified ads, job openings, real estate listings or similar postings to the event calendar. However, you can advertise with us in our newsletter. We offer very affordable rates, please contact us for details & pricing.

Our event calendar is different than our daily food truck schedule, which has it’s own separate calendar.

If food trucks are part of a larger event other than daily service, that event may be listed on the event calendar by the organizer and include the participating food trucks.
